As I grew up, I became more aware of the doings… behind the screen and the scene. There was a point at 12 or 13 years-old,  I found myself depicting what I saw and heard. Perhaps drawing about what I wanted or felt, when others are more loquacious, and indeed more accomplished.

As every child in the world, one wants to make one’s mark. I drew little pictures in my exercise books, made little kids stuff like war, cowboys and weird machines. I carried little notebooks stuffed in my satchel. My mother kept my doodles and they survived countless moves.

Like everyone there are snapshots from the early fifties onwards, all lost in boxes and forgotten, drawings and designs and portraits …. until, The Pandemic, everything changed. 

I devoted a couple of years (2019-2021) digitizing drawings from the past 50 years of my lifetime.
